Scouting โ€“ an opportunity!

The Blue area is the land designated by Cotswold District Council for Economic Development, job retention and employment growth. Between the blue section and the B4632 lies a 4.5 acre flat grass field coloured green which we are happy to allow scoutng summer camps to use free of charge. We can even provide a plumbed-in toilet and shower unit if required.

Further Benefits of the Location

Mickleton is 8 miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare. It lies at the beginning of the Cotswolds and the Heart of England Way runs one field away from the rear of our property. There is access to the River Avon at many nearby locations.

The area available for camping is adjacent to the Enterprise Park and directly off the B4632. As you can read on this website the park is desiged to accommodate small to medium high/latest tech companies and support facilities for those companies. Such activities may well enthuse young minds to consider career choices that they had never thought about before.

For our part we are happy to show how sectional concrete buildings are produced and how to erect them, and the nationwide erection of such small buildings by trained scouts could provide a substantial revenue source for that local group. Also there is small vehicle assembly unit carried producing LeoTrucks. See these vehicles at: https://www.leotrucks.co.uk/

Another Division of the Company have developed Geneero. Geneero is best described as a “grown-up” version of the famous Meccano product (not in any way connected with Leofric and its vast appications) can be seen here: https://geneero.online/library-of-solutions/

Many Scout Groups use Marley, later Leofric Scout Buildings. This is one way that we can say “Thank you”.
