History

Currently the site is occupied by Hammond Group Companies with their activities listed in Trades (now on site).

Summerville Limited, who hold the Freehold interest, bought the site in 2000 from the previous owners. It’s last use before 2000 was as a pickling plant owned by J. Seyfried & Sons, who had commenced business next to the Wagon & Horses pub in Mayfair (a field at the time) by selling pickled vegetables to the Royal Navy in the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries.
